DRY, ITCHY SKIN? SOS SERUM IS HERE TO HELP AND WE TRIED IT

It’s not unusual to find that you have dry, and maybe even itchy, skin at this time of the year, so you may need to use products that will help combat it.

SOS Serum (£15) promises to do just that. With a formulation suitable for sensitive skin (even diabetics), it includes wasabi and burdock leaf extracts to soothe the skin, which could be valuable to those with eczema or similar conditions.

The liquid itself, which is dispensed by a pump, is light and un-fragranced. It smoothes onto the skin and immediately feels cool due to the peppermint in the ingredients. You don’t need to use a lot either, as a little certainly goes along way!

Sometimes with these sort of creams they can leave a greasy residue on the skin, but this soaks in and keeps the skin feeling hydrated.

Our hands are facing the brunt of the pandemic when it comes to our skin, because we are washing them more than we probably used to. This product has helped to keep the back of my hands hydrated and comfortable, with no sign of any dry skin.

For those of you who care about what you’re putting on your skin, the SOS Serum uses no parabens, SLS, colours or fragrances. It’s cruelty free and vegan. And lastly, it is made in the UK.

They also have a few other items in the range, including a face moisturiser and a face/body SPF – something we should all be wearing, even during these gloomy, grey months.

Products were sent to MODAN by PR. The opinions expressed in this article are that of the author’s. What works for them, may not work for you. But it’s always fun giving a new product a go!
