Yes, people, it’s that time of the season where I share what I’m lovin’ and using in the world of beauty. Currently I’m trying to keep it simple, but this is also due to the fact I’m not attending social events and what not the same as I was pre-covid. I personally don’t feel there is a need to wear a lot of product, and the only reason for me to do so is to hide my blemishes which come and go as they please.

This spring I wanted to strip back my usual routine of heavy make-up, which I have only worn a handful of times since the pandemic began. I have loved not wearing make-up and instead feeling more confident in my natural skin, but also I love make-up, so, I generally just like to wear it.

I promise I don’t work for or get paid to promote Glossier, but it is a brand that I genuinely like and use. Recently I have begun using the Perfecting Skin Tint (£20) alongside the Stretch Concealer (£15), which you can buy as a duo and save money. It looks a lot more fresh on my face and conceals where I need it, rather than it fully washing me out. I’m yet to wear this combo in an all day situation out in the city or whatever we did pre-pandemic, so I cannot comment on its stay-ability. Overall though, works a treat.

And just to get Glossier out of the way, I’m also loving the Balm Dotcom (£10), their original cult favourite product. It’s an all-round amazing balm that keeps lips hydrated. The Mint (clear but glossy) and the Birthday (slight sparkle) versions are my go-to flavours. What’s yours?

And then there are the brows and eye lashes. My brows are something I maintain but don’t do a lot with. I like to keep them in check so use the Barry M Take a Brow Gel in clear (£4.99). It does its job and is a bargain, too.

I love, love DIOR’s Diorshow Iconic Overcurl (£29). This has been my go-to mascara for a number of months now, as you’ve probably read me raving about it before. It’s waterproof and lasts all day with a wonderful curl that opens the eye. A little pricey, but worth it.
